Dan-ag: Journal of Educational Studies is the official research journal of the School of Education of Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan. The journal provides a scholarly platform for advancing educational knowledge, strengthening research-informed practice, and promoting meaningful dialogue among researchers, educators, leaders, and practitioners. Rooted in the meaning of dan-ag—light, radiance, or the breaking of dawn—the journal represents the continuing pursuit of knowledge that illuminates educational realities and contributes to the formation of more inclusive, responsive, and transformative learning communities. Originally published in print, Dan-ag is being relaunched through a dedicated digital platform to broaden access to educational scholarship, strengthen its editorial and peer-review processes, and extend the reach and impact of research produced within and beyond Xavier Ateneo.

All submissions undergo initial editorial screening. Manuscripts that satisfy the journal’s scope and basic scholarly requirements will be considered for independent peer review.
The forthcoming issue will mark the digital relaunch of Dan-ag: Journal of Educational Studies and the renewal of its commitment to rigorous, relevant, and accessible educational scholarship.
This issue will feature research that examines contemporary educational concerns, classroom and institutional practices, innovations, and evidence-based responses to the evolving needs of learners, educators, schools, and communities.
Dan-ag: Journal of Educational Studies publishes original and scholarly work that contributes to educational theory, research, policy, and practice. The journal welcomes studies in the following areas:

Research manuscripts undergo editorial screening and independent peer review before an editorial decision is made.

Dan-ag provides immediate and permanent open access to all published articles without subscription, registration, paywall, or embargo. Published articles may be read, downloaded, shared, distributed, and reused in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
The journal is published and institutionally supported by the School of Education of Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan.
Dan-ag welcomes expressions of interest from qualified educators, researchers, and scholars who wish to contribute as editorial-board members or peer reviewers. Submission of an expression of interest does not automatically constitute an appointment. Applicants will be evaluated according to their qualifications, research expertise, publication or reviewing experience, professional standing, and the current needs of the journal.
