Editorial Note

This editorial note accompanies the digital publication of Volume 5, Issue 2 of Dan-ag: Journal of Educational Studies. The issue forms part of the journal’s continuing archival recovery and digital relaunch undertaken by the School of Education, Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan to preserve earlier scholarship and make it more accessible to contemporary readers.

The studies in this issue have been prepared for online dissemination through article-level records and standardized bibliographic information. As part of the 2026 digital preparation, the journal organized the available article files, standardized publication metadata, created persistent identifiers for the digital records, and improved access to the individual articles through the journal website and its archival repository. These interventions are editorial and technical in nature. They do not constitute a new round of peer review or a substantive rewriting of the original studies.

In preparing the digital edition, the journal has sought to preserve the authorship, scholarly content, and historical character of the issue while correcting only minor typographic, formatting, or metadata inconsistencies when necessary. Where pagination, citation information, or other publication details were standardized for the digital edition, these are presented transparently in the corresponding article records. Readers are encouraged to cite each article using the bibliographic information and DOI displayed on its published record.

The completion of Volume 5, Issue 2 is another step in rebuilding the accessible scholarly record of Dan-ag. Through this archival work, the journal reaffirms its commitment to preservation, discoverability, open access, and responsible stewardship of the research entrusted to it.
